- Frequently Asked Questions-
“Do I need to be advanced at yoga to join?”
Not at all. You don’t need to be able to do handstands, arm balances, or advanced poses. What matters most is your willingness to learn, stay curious, and be present in your body. Many students join to deepen their practice—not because they’ve mastered it.
“What if I’m not sure I want to teach?”
That’s completely okay and actually very common. Many people join primarily for personal growth, and teaching becomes a possibility later. This training is just as much about your relationship with yourself as it is about teaching others.
“I don’t feel ‘ready’… should I wait?”
Most people don’t feel ready and that doesn’t mean it’s not the right time. Often, the feeling of “not ready” is actually the edge of growth. If you feel a pull or curiosity, it’s worth exploring.
“Is this training really emotional or intense?”
There are opportunities for self-reflection and personal growth, but you are always in choice. You won’t be forced to share or go deeper than you’re ready for. The space is intentionally created to feel supportive, grounded, and safe. Two of our faculty members, Ashley Brodeur and Nya Daley are trained mental health professionals that can support you during your training if any emotional experiences come forward.
It is your responsibility to manage your own mental health if you have any previous or current diagnosis or are taking medication.
“What is a typical day like?”
Days usually include a mix of movement (asana), workshops, teaching practice, group discussion, and time for rest and integration. It’s a full but balanced schedule.

“Will I have any free time?”
Yes. While the training is immersive, there is space built in to rest, reflect, and enjoy the environment. It’s not about being “on” all the time. You will have 2 scheduled full days off to enjoy the surrounding areas. You also have 90 minutes for lunch, and free time after dinner each day.
“Do you offer payment plans?”
Yes. We offer flexible payment options to make the training more accessible. Details are available upon request.
“Is it worth it if I don’t plan to teach?”
Many students say this experience was life-changing regardless of whether they teach. The tools, awareness, and connections you gain extend far beyond the mat.

“What can I do after I graduate?”
Graduates go on to:
Teach classes (studios, gyms, private)
Integrate yoga into existing careers (therapy, coaching, wellness)
Deepen their personal practice and self-awareness
There’s no one path it’s about what feels aligned for you.
